We're Ryan, Dan, and Ant, three 20 something lads, from Birkenhead, who love football. 24% of women and 13% of men in England are diagnosed with depression in their lifetime. But men are three times more likely to die from suicide than women. We wanted to know why. Join us every Monday and Friday as we speak to people from the wide world of football, all about Mental Health, in an attempt to learn more about it, and encourage men to feel more comfortable talking about their health and wellbeing, and attempt to remove the stigma that still surrounds the topic.

"Do you want me to answer the question or do you want me to just rabble on? Because I talk for fun mate." This was how our conversation with Chris began, and he wasn't lying.
Chris Iwelumo's eclectic career started at St. Mirren, the first of his 18 clubs, that included spells in Denmark and Germany, as well as a period in the Premier League, and four international caps for Scotland.
In the first half of our interview, we spoke to Chris about his childhood, an often testing childhood in the suburbs of Glasgow in the 1980s, his relationship with his Mother, and his colourful career.
